My Favorite Things of 2010

Ah, 2010. The year that was. A fantastic year. Started by the sunrise over the mountains in Snowbird Canyon and ended by the sun setting on the Swiss Alps. I will never forget exploring the fast emptiness of space in Mass Effect 2, saving the US from the Soviet Union in Black Ops, or the fall of Reach in Halo. I also wont forget the beauty of such films as Inception and The Social Network. The music I will associate with this year is most likely to be Hans Zimmer's brilliant (when is it not?) score of Inception. The pieces Old Souls, Dream is Collapsing, and Time are all amazing, not to mention the rest. I'll also remember Eminem's comeback in Not Afraid and Band of Horse's The Funeral. Some of my greatest memories from this year include Europe, skiing at Snowbird again, and my cousin Kyle returning from Afganistan. For 2011, don't forget the biggest wedding of the century, the movies Green Lantern, Harry Potter 7: Part 2, Mission Impossible: 4, and Super 8. I'll be playing Portal 2, Mass Effect 3, and Arkham City to the end also. So salude to 2010. (Oh, and did I forget to mention I'm returning to Europe too?)

What?

So Im doing homework, eating those heart candies with those things on them, blogging, and listening to The Dark Knight film score on Pandora all at the same time, and all I really want to do is get on Xbox. Im like what?

Hans Zimmer

The movies that Hans Zimmer composes are always good. I mean, he did Inception, The Dark Knight, Mission: Impossible, and Pirates of the Carribean. Not to mention Black Hawk Down (Which i plan to watch soon), and Sherlock Holmes. These scores fit the movie perfectly and they make it that more epic. It's a good thing he's composing all the major want-to-see movies of the next three years, including The Dark Knight Rises (which I would kill to watch) and The Man of Steel (which will finally give Zach Snyder the respect he deserves, although I would have preferred Christopher Nolan or Matt Reeves). He is a musical genius. When he dies and goes to Heaven all the music the angels play he will write. Writing this makes me want to watch The Dark Knight, but I have to finish this stupid science report first.

Catch ya guys later and peace out.

Nathan Fillion is amazing ( and so is Firefly)

Nathan Fillion is like the funniest guy ever. He's great in whatever he's in, if it's Castle or a Joss Whedon thing. His show Firefly is one of the greatest i've ever seen, too bad it was cancelled.

Cal of Duty: Black Ops Sympathy for the Devil

I got the new Call of Duty game Wednesday and I am naturally addicted to it now. I was playing the campaign last night and the song Sympathy for the Devil came on the radio. It was epic going down that river with it playing, just another moment from the best Call of Duty campaign.
